Spring is upon us & while you’re cleaning out your closets, please consider helping us support a wonderful Trumbull resident, Anne Marie Tarinelli who has devoted her time for many years to the Sunday Soup Kitchen. Please see the below flyer for items that are desperately needed, however, all donations are greatly appreciated!
Thanks to everyone who donated food items to our local Trumbull Food Pantry. With your support, we were able to help stock their shelves with six more bags of groceries!
In April, we will be sponsoring a Clothing & Food Drive for our neighbors at the Sunday Soup Kitchen in Bridgeport. Spring is upon us and while you’re cleaning out your closets, please consider donating any gently used clothes to them. They are in desperate need of men’s clothing but will accept any items. Toiletries, paper goods, peanut butter & jelly, canned soup, crackers and tunafish are also in need. More details coming soon…
Thanks again for your support!
Thanks to our friends at LFL, these pictures were forwarded along to us and they are truly amazing. Unfortunately, this display of american patriotism was not broadcast during the Packers vs. Vikings game at Lambeau Field on Nov. 14, 2011 in honor of our Veterans.
It took 90 workers two weeks to get all of the colored pages mounted under each seat. Each piece of card board had eye slits in them so the fans could hold up the colored sheet and watch the game through the eye slits.
GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY, VETERANS & THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The recent devastating tornados that ripped through America’s heartland cruelly destroyed homes, churches and entire towns. Lives were lost and shattered. Despite these heartbreaking events, those touched by the tragedy also experienced hope and love. Members of the 9/12 Project across the country came together to support tornado victims. Working in unity with Mercury One, efforts sprang into action to help those in need.
The 9/12 Project has compiled a list of resources for individuals who are wishing to help where their efforts or donations would be best used on local levels. To view this list, please visit:

Happy New Year!
The Trumbull 9/12 Project is looking forward to a great 2012…we will be announcing our monthly meeting dates soon, please stay tuned…
In the meantime, we would like to leave you with a story we read the other day:
A man decided that he would change the world.
But, he wasn’t successful.
So he decided to change the country.
But, he wasn’t successful.
So he decided to change his community.
But, he wasn’t successful.
So he decided to change his street.
But, he wasn’t successful.
So he decided to change his family.
But, he wasn’t successful.
So he decided to change himself.
AND HE WAS SUCCESSFUL.
AND HIS FAMILY CHANGED AND THEY AFFECTED THEIR STREET.
AND THE PEOPLE ON THE STREET AFFECTED THEIR COMMUNITY.
AND THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY AFFECTED THEIR COUNTRY.
AND THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY AFFECTED THE WORLD!
May your holiday season be blessed with peace, love, & joy…
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
